Greensboro Traditional Archery is the only place in this area that offers instruction in traditional archery. That is defined as they practice of archery without wheels, cams, sights, release mechanisms or other technology designed to make archery "easier."
We view archery as more than just shooting a bow. Archery, in its purest form, is an active meditation and a path toward mastery of one's self. It is similar to martial arms like Karate and Akido with the opportunity for individual solitary practice like Yoga or Tai chi.
Of course, most folks just enjoy slinging a few arrows on a pretty day and take lot of joy from learning to hit the bullseye. Once the basics of archery are learned we can also teach you how to setup and maintain your archery equipment.

Our one-on-one archery lessons provide instructions with a certified trainer to help you have a successful archery experience.
If you don’t have any equipment- No Problem! We can provide all the equipment needed.
Beginner lessons are $45.00 for an hour of instruction. Following the lesson, you can continue to shoot on your own for practice time that day at no extra charge.
If you do not want a lesson and just want a place to practice, we offer range-practice time for $45.00 per visit. This includes use of archery equipment and use of the range for practicing on your own.
All lessons and range times are scheduled by appointment only so that each archer/student can be taught uninterrupted or can practice without waiting in line.
We will be scheduling lessons and range time on weekdays and weekends. We are available, by appointment, morning through evening for lessons and range time. Let us know your special booking needs. We can possibly accommodate you.
If you are a first time student you will be required to post a non refundable deposit of $15.00 via Venmo, Cash app or Zelle before your appointment is added to our calendar. When you arrive at the range the deposit will be deducted from your fee.

We do not service, work on or stock parts for cross bows or compound bows.
If you shoot a compound or crossbow call me and we can discuss if you would be allowed to use our range. Do not ask for instruction or help working on this type of equipment.
